About Us

Why Little Sparrows was Created

"Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father's knowledge. Even all the hairs of your head are counted. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."

Matthew 10: 29-31

Little Sparrows Montessori Co-Op was created out of a shared desire to create a faith-based cooperative learning environment for our toddlers and young children—a classroom marked by a willingness to work with others, a focus on child-led curriculum, and parent-family involvement.

Our Mission:

Little Sparrows Montessori Co-Op is a Christian community of families devoted to raising curious, independent, faithful children in a Montessori environment, both at home and in the classroom.

Who is Little Sparrows for?

Little Sparrows Montessori Co-Op is currently accepting children ages 2 to 5 years of age.

The Co-Op Model

Cooperative models benefit parents and families through sharing of valuable resources, skills and time. In addition to high-quality childcare, our community will emphasize family involvement and parent education. Co-op families also develop meaningful connection and social support as a part of our learning community.

As part of our co-op model, our parents volunteer in different capacities and fulfill different tasks to support the environment.

Another benefit to the co-op model is our ability to have concurrent parent discussions while the children are taught in another classroom. These discussions will center around applying Montessori methods and principles in our own homes.
